  1. What are the rules of FreeStyle Street Basketball™?

    FreeStyle is all about action. No fouls. No free throws. Nothing is out of bounds. The only rules you need to watch for:

    • No double dribble.
    • 24-second shot clock.
    • You must clear the ball outside the 3 point line before you can shoot when you take possession.

  2. What positions can I be in FreeStyle Street Basketball?

    In FreeStyle, you can play the following positions: Guard, Forward, and Center. When you reach level 15, you can tailor your Guard or Forward into a specialty.

  3. How many players can I play against?

    FreeStyle games are played 1-on-1, 2-on-2, or 3-on-3.

  4. Does my team need to have a Forward, Center, and a Guard?

    You can customize teams any way you like. You can have a balanced team, go with 2 guards and a center, play three forwards, or any combinations of the the three positions you like. Find other players to play with that match your play style.

  5. How can I improve my character?

    You can improve your character a few ways.

    • Level your character - the more you play, the better your character becomes.
    • Buy items - you can buy items with attribute bonuses that improves the abilities of your character.
    • Buy Skills and FreeStyles - you can add special moves to your character to step up your game on the court.

  6. What is the highest level my character can attain?

    You can level your character up to level 45. As you level, more special moves and items become available to you, so you can continue to customize your character to fit your tastes.

  7. Will I be able to track my character stats?

    You can track your character stats in games. Characters are also ranked against each other in multiple leaderboards, so you compare yourself against other players in wins, points, blocks, steals, and more than a dozen other stats.

  8. What do the Ping Meters represent?

    Ping meters are a 5 bar representation of your actual ping to the game server in real time. This allows users to see another player's connection quality to the game servers.

    Green bars and orange bars will generally indicate a smooth gameplay experience. One red bar or no bars may be cause for concern. If you are experiencing a red bar or no bars, it could be due to heavy internet traffic, downloads on your network, or a more serious problem with your connection or your Internet Service Provider. If you consistently see poor connections to FreeStyle Street Basketball, please contact our Guest Services Department who can assist you in troubleshooting.
